Colorado drivers, let’s follow the law and buckle up those seat belts or you could get a ticket!
1) According to CDOT, 178 people who weren’t wearing their seat belts died in accidents last year in Colorado.
2) The majority (59%) of those deaths happened on rural roadways.
3) The top three counties for the most deaths last year: El Paso (11), Weld (9), Lincoln (7).
The “Click It or Ticket” campaign is starting today, March 31, and runs through April 7.
The main goal of this campaign is to impress upon drivers that wearing a seat belt can truly save lives.
