While the mid-day weather still feels like summer, the mornings are crisp and cool. That’s perfect for me, because I generally think about what to make for dinner when I’m getting my day underway. There is nothing better than soup, and making it in a slow cooker couldn’t be simpler. I love placing all the ingredients into the large vessel, turning it on, and knowing that when I return later in the day, dinner will be ready. Soups are a wonderful meal to make in your slow cooker. They cook all day allowing all the yummy flavors to mix together. Complete the meal with a warm, fresh loaf of french bread, and dinner is on the table.
